Double Draft

For this game you will need five 15-card booster packs or its equivalent (75 cards) for each person playing. 

The Draft and Deck Construction 

For this format it is recommended that you have 8 players.  Players will draft all five booster packs the same as a normal booster draft.  The extra cards will be needed, as each player will be required to make TWO decks from their draft pool. Each deck will have a 40-card minimum but share a sideboard.  Once decks are constructed, cards cannot be moved from one deck to the other. Players need to label one deck their "A" deck and the other their "B" deck.

Game Play

Players will play 5 matches in each round. The first game will be each player’s “A” deck, followed by a game pitting each player's "B" deck. Then "A" will play "B" and "B" will play "A" (winner of the coin flip at the beginning of the match chooses both to play or draw and whether their "A" or "B" deck will play in game 3). If a fifth game is necessary, each player will choose which deck will be used for the final game. This choice will be recorded simultaneously.
