Format Rules: Block Constructed

Format Rules at a Glance:

• Deck Construction Rules:
• Decks must contain a minimum of sixty cards.
• There is no maximum deck size (decks must be able to be fully shuffled without any outside assistance).
• All cards in the deck must be printed in sets which come from a single block.  See the Wizards of the Coast Block Format Deck Construction page for current legal blocks and their expansion sets.  Cards printed in other expansion sets are legal if they have also been printed in a set from the appropriate block.
• No more than 4 copies of any one card (except Basic Lands) are allowed.
